VIPR Solutions (VIPR) has announced Latha Horne as the insurtech’s new IT operations manager.

In her new role at VIPR, Horne is responsible for overseeing the company’s IT operations. Her primary focus will be on ensuring the efficient functioning of systems and fostering innovation and efficiency within the company’s technological framework. Her skills in managing intricate IT infrastructures and her proficiency in team communication and collaboration are expected to be key assets in her position.

Horne’s professional background spans over two decades, with significant roles in IT operations and customer service management, including positions at Charles Taylor and the BBC (British Broadcasting Corporation).

Horne’s choice to join VIPR was influenced by the company’s reputation for a dynamic working environment and its commitment to offering flexible and customised product solutions. Her extensive experience, notably in news technology during her nearly two-decade tenure at the BBC, equips her with a unique perspective for navigating the challenges of a rapidly evolving industry.

“I am thrilled to join VIPR at this exciting time,” Horne said. “I look forward to contributing to the company’s growth and success by leveraging my experience in IT support and operations. VIPR’s dedication to providing innovative and tailored solutions for the global delegated authority insurance sector aligns perfectly with my professional approach.”

“Latha’s extensive experience, particularly her insights into data management and customer-focused IT services from her previous role at Charles Taylor make her an ideal fit for VIPR. We are confident that she will play a pivotal role in our journey towards enhancing our IT operations and overall service offerings,” VIPR CEO and co-founder Paul Templar said.
